Our Philosophy

Help rescues Pilgrim from the "Sewer of Doubt"
Help rescues Christian from the "Sewer of Doubt"

“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as stewards of God’s grace in all its variety.” (1Peter 4:10)

We believe that God has given each of us gifts to be developed and used for His purposes. We are not aiming to produce movie stars or the next American idol. Rather, we see value in theatre as a way to broaden our understanding of life, foster compassion, and communicate truth.

Theatre develops our God-given, creative imaginations. It requires us to take risks and overcome the fear of what others think. It’s also a fun way to make new friends and build community while learning to work together as a team. We hope our students will use their talents to encourage others in the faith. We hope they will spread the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth, died for our sins, and made a way for us to enjoy Him forever. We also hope that during workshops, rehearsals and performances, students will draw closer to the Lord, depend on Him more, and develop a passion for His kingdom.
