A full-length, two-act "Broadway style" musical running 120 minutes (135 for Pilgrim Her Story) and suitable for high school, college or mixed age casts.
Orchestration is available (details below).
This contemporary musical, which debuted in 2009, is an adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. Using Bunyan's allegories, the play conveys biblical themes of faith, repentance, friendship, hardship, temptation, death and eternity. From feedback we've received, cast members often experience a deep spiritual journey along with the audience.
The DVD has been reviewed by bloggers Justin Taylor and Tony Reinke. Taylor writes, "One of the things I love about this DVD is the way it’s instructing our kids on multiple levels: the centrality of the cross, the sufficiency of the Word, ...the guidance and protection of God, ...the importance of true friendship. It’s all done with excellence."
Book by Cathy Mays & Janice Landry Music by Bob Kauflin, Mark Altrogge, Janice Landry, Zach Jones and others
Orchestrations by Susan Perdue

Director Wendy Weiss writes, "It is so difficult to find really quality, redemptive material. The story was awesome, and I know the students will have these truths in their hearts for the rest of their lives. It was an awesome gospel message, the most powerful story we have told from our stage to date." (Westwood Community Church, Excelsior, MN)
